ESG Fundamentals & Reporting Readiness Workshop (F2F) – 15 April 2026
This 4-hour ESG Fundamentals & Reporting Readiness introduces participants to the fundamentals of sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, aligned with the learning themes of the Certified Sustainability Professional programme. The workshop aims to build foundational ESG literacy and help participants understand how sustainability concepts translate into business strategy and organisational practices.
Participants will explore the evolution from CSR to ESG, the relevance of sustainability in today’s business environment and global initiatives such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The session will also introduce key environmental concepts including carbon footprint, greenhouse gas emissions and resource efficiency.
In addition, the workshop provides a high-level overview of ESG reporting and disclosure practices, referencing widely used frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). Participants will gain insights into how organisations identify material ESG issues, engage stakeholders, communicate their sustainability performance effectively and begin developing practical ESG and climate transition roadmaps to support long-term sustainability and Net Zero ambitions.
Certificate of Proficiency is awarded upon completion.
